The problem

A no-show costs more than the hour.

It costs the slot you held, the preparation you did, and usually the client. Email reminders alone don't fix it, because people miss email.

Texts get read

Almost everyone opens a text within minutes. That is the whole reason this exists.

But they're sold at a markup

Most booking tools charge a premium per message on top of a monthly fee, or send from a number that isn't yours.

So we don't sell them

You connect your own provider. The messages are yours, the number is yours, and the bill comes from them.

How it works

Three things to set up, then it runs itself.

1

Set your hours

Say when you're open. Connect Google Calendar and anything already in it is blocked out, so a time is only offered if it is genuinely free.

2

Share one link

Send it, or drop the calendar straight into your own website. Clients pick a time in their own time zone and answer whatever you need to know.

3

They turn up

A confirmation with a calendar invite goes out at once, reminders follow, and the meeting lands in your calendar with its joining link.

Text reminders

From your number, at your provider's price.

Connect TextMagic or Twilio once. After that, every reminder goes out as you, and nothing is added to the price of a message.

  • ✓Your account, your bill. We never touch the money. You see exactly what each message costs.
  • ✓Your sender. Your own number, or your business name in place of one.
  • ✓STOP is honoured. A client who replies STOP stops getting texts, automatically, from you alone.
  • ✓Quiet hours. An overnight reminder waits until morning, in the client's own time zone, not yours.
  • ✓Opt-in, not assumed. Clients tick a box to get texts, and you can see who did.

What's in it

The scheduling parts you'd expect, and a few you wouldn't.

Every kind of meeting

One-on-one, group sessions with a seat count, round robin across a team, or everyone together. Offer several lengths and let the client choose.

Hours that fit real life

Split shifts, date overrides for holidays and shoot days, buffers either side, minimum notice, and a cap on how many you'll take in a day.

Calendar and video

Google Calendar conflicts are blocked and bookings written back with a Meet link. Zoom meetings are created when that's the location.

Invites that update themselves

Move a booking and the entry already in the client's calendar moves with it. Cancel and it disappears. No second invite, no confusion.

Your questions on the form

Ask whatever you need before the call. Let clients add guests, pick between locations, or bring a partner into the conversation.

Changes without an email thread

Clients reschedule or cancel from their own booking page, and you can close that off in the last few hours before a meeting.

On your own website

Drop the calendar into any page, open it from a button, or float it in the corner. It takes your colour and your logo.

Moving from Calendly

Paste a Calendly token and your event types, questions and weekly hours come across. Keep the same links so nothing you've already sent breaks.

A team, if you have one

Add hosts with their own hours and calendars. Share work out round robin, or put two of you on the same call.

Who it's for

People who sell their time and can't afford an empty slot.

It was built for a wedding videographer, so it handles couples, long lead times and awkward questions well. None of that is specific to weddings.

Questions

The things people ask first.

Do I need a TextMagic or Twilio account?

For text reminders, yes. Both take a few minutes to set up, and you pay them directly for what you send. Email reminders need only your own mailbox, and everything else works without either.

What does a text actually cost?

Whatever your provider charges, usually a few pence in the UK. We add nothing. A reminder the day before and another an hour before means two messages per booking.

Can I move over from Calendly?

Yes. Paste a Calendly token and your event types, their questions and your weekly hours come across in one go. Keep the same link endings and anything you've already sent out still works. Check your buffers and notice periods afterwards, as Calendly doesn't share those.

Does it connect to my Google Calendar?

Yes, for busy times, for writing bookings in, and for Meet links. While we're in early access, connecting a new account needs a quick manual approval from us first.

What do my clients see?

Your name, your colour and your logo. They never make an account, never install anything, and can book on a phone in under a minute.

Where does everything live?

On a server in the UK. Each business's bookings are kept apart from every other's, and the keys you give us for email and texts are encrypted before they are stored. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time.

Put the link in your next reply.

Setting up takes about ten minutes, and the first booking tells you whether it suits you.
